CAMPING

Camping will be available on a first come first serve basis for Friday and Saturday evenings. The camp site is within minutes walking distance from the festival. Camping site costs and availability for 2010 will be announced soon. Please be sure to read all the details below regarding camping at Music in the Fields.

There are 2 full service camp grounds, Fisherman’s Cove and Silverlake, both approximately 18kms North of Lucknow, please follow the links to their respective web sites.

Camping may be booked in advance, please follow the link below for any bookings or questions.

FESTIVAL CAMPGROUND INFORMATION & SERVICES:

Each camping ticket includes 2 stickers - one is for a vehicle and one is for a camping unit (camper, tent, etc). These stickers are the tickets needed to enter the site.

The camping stickers are valid for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Camping passes alone do not allow access to the Music in the Fields site - all patrons camping must have a valid Music in the Fields ticket, these will be available for sale at the gates.

SECURITY is on site all weekend. All campers must have valid tickets to Music in the Fields. Security will be periodically checking for valid tickets throughout the camp ground for the duration of the weekend. Those in violation will be evicted from the grounds.

MEDICAL / FIRST AID services are available on site all day.

PARKING:
Campsites are approximately 24’ x 48’. No power or water hookups available at campsites.

GARBAGE: Black and/or orange garbage bags are supplied to campsites daily. Bagged garbage is picked up daily from campsites. Messy campgrounds are grounds for eviction.

RECYCLING: Clear bags for recycling cans are distributed to and picked up from campsites. Blue barrels are located throughout the site for cans and plastic bottles. Please use them.

WASHROOMS are located in every campground and throughout the site.

HANDICAPPED WASHROOMS are available on site.

HANDICAPPED PARKING is located at the site. A Handicap Sticker must be visible in vehicle at all times.
Lost & Found is located at the Music in the Fields Office on site. Music in the Fields is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Anything of value (including coolers) should be locked up at your campsite out of sight.

MESSAGE BOARD is located beside the Music in the Fields Office and at main gate.
Any person on site is subject to being photographed for Music in the Fields promotional purposes.
Any wristband that has been cut or tampered with is VOID and will not be replaced.

GATE INFORMATION:

PLEASE PUT CAMPING STICKERS ON VEHICLES AND CAMPERS BEFORE ENTERING THE GATES.

Campgrounds will open from 5:00 - 9:00pm on Friday September 3rd, 2010, and open again at 8:00am on Saturday September 4th, 2010. More details to follow

Only people with valid tickets to Music in the Fields can enter the site, tickets will be available for sale at the gates.

Music in the Fields is not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten tickets.


CAMPGROUND RULES:

NO HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE ALLOWED ON CAMPSITES. This includes couches. Music in the Fields reserves the right to confiscate household furniture without compensation to the owner.

One vehicle and one camping unit per campsite only. Stickers must be visible on each. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed.

Liquor purchased offsite is permitted in the campground area only.

Generators are allowed on site, but patrons may be asked to turn them off if use is loud or excessive. Please refrain from using generators after midnight.

Please respect the close proximity of neighbouring homesteads to the campground, and do not trespass on these properties.

Any person involved in illegal or criminal activity on site will be handed over to the OPP.

Unfortunately we cannot host pets of any kind at the festival or the camp ground.

NO PERSONAL ATVS, SCOOTERS, ETC ON SITE.
NO CRUISING IN CAMPGROUNDS.
NO OPEN FIRES (BBQs or grills are allowed).
NO GLASS BOTTLES OR GLASS CONTAINERS.

EXCESSIVE NOISE
MESSY CAMPSITE
INVALID OR ABSENT WRISTBAND
