INFORMATION
Building on our success in 2009, Music in the Fields 2010 will be taking place this on September 4, 2010 in Lucknow Ontario. The one day music festival, organized by the local Kinsmen Club, is a fantastic opportunity for music fans from all around south-western and central Ontario to get together and see some of Canada’s top country musicians perform in this great setting.
Proceeds from the festival will be going to various charitable and local organizations in the community as well as to the Kinsmen’s official charity, Cystic Fibrosis research.

TICKETS
Tickets can be purchased through www.ticketscene.ca and locally at Lucknow Tourism Office, Huron Kinloss Municipal Building and select retailers across the region. Tickets are non-refundable. Full details and other ticket vendors are available on our Tickets page.
TIMES
Gates open at 11.00am, with the first band set to start at 1.15pm
The concert is scheduled to end at 12.00am with the bar closing at 01.00am
There are no rain dates. Music in the Fields will be on rain, or shine!
FESTIVAL
There will be a tent in the Festive gardens and as well in the First aid area for heat relief.
No umbrella's, Beach umbrellas or shelters are allowed on the site.
Please bring standard lawnchairs only. No foot rest type, they take up too much room.
No lawnchairs permitted in area marked in front of the stage - they get in the way when dancing!
No lawnchairs permitted in the beer gardens.
Blankets only are permitted on the hills.
Re-entry is permitted, with an armband before 8.00pm.
There will be an ATM machine on site.
All bags will be searched by Security on entry.
PARKING
Parking lots are located within walking distance of the event with free shuttle buses available for those who do not wish to walk. Shuttle buses will be running regularly throughout the day to and from the parking lots to the festival site until the end of the concert.
Parking will cost $5.00 per car and/or buses but the bus ride from the parking lot to the event is free!!

FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Outside food and/or beverages are not permitted within the festival gates and coolers are not permitted on the festival grounds. There will be a number of food and beverage vendors at Music in the Fields. A licensed beer tent will be open at the event to attendees nineteen and older.

CAMPING
Camping is available on Friday and/or Saturday night at a number of sites close to the festival. Full details are available on our Camping page, please ensure you fill out the form to reserve your camping site.
VOLUNTEERS
Our festival would not be possible without the incredible teamwork and effort of our volunteers. The big day is not that far off and we have lots to do, so we welcome new volunteers.
